Job Description
The Swimming Coach will design and deliver engaging swimming lessons aligned with the curriculum, promote physical literacy, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment for learners. Responsibilities include lesson planning, equipment management, student motivation, and contributing to co‑curricular activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Physical Education) with a minimum B‑grade at O‑level
- • Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)
- • One to two years of teaching experience in swimming or physical education

Responsibilities
- • Prepare and deliver swimming lessons that align with the CBE curriculum
- • Design student‑centered learning experiences and differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs
- • Support students in developing physical literacy, teamwork and healthy lifestyle habits
- • Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
- • Plan lessons considering students’ abilities and progressive development
- • Monitor and record swimming equipment inventory
- • Motivate and encourage learners to participate actively in swimming activities
- • Contribute to co‑curricular programmes and school events as required
