Job Description
The Swimming Coach/Teacher creates a safe and inclusive environment for learners, delivering swimming lessons that develop technique, fitness and teamwork. The coach designs lesson plans, monitors progress, and ensures pool safety while fostering a love for the sport among students.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related discipline
- • Certified swimming coach qualification recognized by a national governing body
- • Proven experience teaching swimming to children and adolescents

Responsibilities
- • Deliver structured swimming lessons to individuals and groups of varying ages and skill levels
- • Develop lesson plans that focus on technique, safety, fitness and water confidence
- • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and personalized guidance
- • Ensure pool safety by enforcing rules and supervising all activities
- • Maintain equipment and keep the pool area clean and organized
- • Communicate with parents and school staff regarding student performance and upcoming sessions
