Job Description
The Tax, Accounting and Audit Officer will provide comprehensive accounting, tax compliance and audit support to both the organization and its clients. Responsibilities include maintaining client accounting records, preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations and assisting with tax filings and audit processes. The role requires a solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations and strong analytical abilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- • Professional accounting certificate (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
- • 2–5 years of experience in accounting, taxation and audit
- • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and administration
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
- • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Maintain and prepare accounting records for assigned clients
- • Post and review transactions, journals, accruals, pre‑payments and adjustments
- • Prepare bank, supplier, customer, payroll and general‑ledger reconciliations
- • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for clients
- • Assist clients with bookkeeping and ensure proper accounting documentation
- • Review client financial records for accuracy and compliance
