Job Description
The Tax Manager leads Airtel Africa’s tax function, overseeing compliance, reporting and audit management for both direct and indirect taxes. They develop tax strategies, mitigate risks and provide advisory support to business units. The role requires deep technical expertise and strong commercial acumen.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or related field (CPA, ACCA preferred)
- • Minimum 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, preferably in a multinational environment
- • In‑depth knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and international tax principles
- • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills
- • Ability to lead and mentor a tax team
