Job Description
The Tax Team Leader oversees the tax advisory practice, providing technical guidance on direct and indirect tax matters, advising clients on planning and compliance, and representing them in audits and investigations. The role also includes delivering training, offering transfer‑pricing advice, preparing tax briefs and supervising junior staff. Strong leadership, deep tax knowledge and at least four years of relevant experience are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or a related field
- • Professional tax qualification or certification preferred
- • Minimum four years of experience in tax advisory or compliance
- • Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide technical guidance on PAYE, income tax, withholding tax, corporate tax, VAT, CGT and customs tax
- • Advise clients on tax planning, compliance and regulatory changes
- • Represent clients in tax audits, investigations and appeals
- • Conduct internal and external tax training sessions
- • Deliver transfer‑pricing advisory services and prepare related documentation
- • Prepare briefs on current tax developments and legislative changes
- • Supervise and mentor junior tax staff
