Job Description
The Tech Lead for Payments & Financial Infrastructure drives the technical vision and development of payment systems, wallets, and related financial services. The role balances hands‑on engineering with team leadership, ensuring secure, reliable, and auditable solutions while guiding a small engineering group. A bachelor’s degree in a technical field and proven experience in payments technology are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- • Proven experience designing and delivering payment or financial infrastructure solutions
- • Strong software development skills and familiarity with secure coding practices
- • Ability to lead and mentor a small engineering team
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Own technical direction for payment orchestration, collections and payment links
- • Design and maintain wallet, balance and ledger systems
- • Develop payout, transfer, FX and money‑movement functionalities
- • Integrate card‑processing and payment‑card solutions
- • Implement settlement, reconciliation and banking integrations
- • Build KYC/KYB, fraud detection, dispute and risk‑control mechanisms
- • Ensure production reliability and lead incident response
- • Establish financial‑operations tooling and engineering standards
