Job Description
The Technical Procurement Officer will source, evaluate and purchase technical hardware and industrial supplies for the Trading Division, ensuring specifications match project requirements and delivering cost‑effective solutions. The role involves preparing quotations, negotiating terms, and maintaining strong supplier relationships while coordinating with finance and internal teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or vocational qualification in a relevant technical field.
- • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in technical procurement or supply chain.
- • Strong knowledge of industrial hardware and engineering components.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Source, request and collect competitive quotations from local, regional and international suppliers for technical and industrial items.
- • Prepare detailed quotation summaries and proposals for internal divisions.
- • Process procurement for items such as flanges, steam pipes, fittings, valves, boiler spare parts, bearings, drive components, welding machines and consumables.
- • Verify technical specifications of requested items to ensure exact match with client or project standards.
- • Negotiate prices, credit terms and delivery schedules to secure optimal cost savings and quality.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable technical suppliers and distributors.
- • Coordinate closely with the Accounts/Finance department for purchase orders and payments.
