Job Description
The Technical Services Manager will drive commercialization of ingredient products, provide technical advice to key customers and support the sales team with on‑site trials and production assistance. The role requires strong food‑technology expertise and excellent client‑facing skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Degree in beverage or food technology or equivalent professional experience
- • Proven technical expertise in the food and beverage industry
- • Strong understanding of basic business administration principles
- • Excellent English communication skills
- • Demonstrated ownership, enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure
- • Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead commercialization of ingredient products and support successful launches
- • Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key regional accounts
- • Advise customers on application and production technologies
- • Provide on‑site support during trials and initial production runs
- • Serve as a technical consultant for customers and the sales team
- • Resolve customer complaints and technical challenges promptly
- • Align closely with the local sales team to support commercial expansion
- • Travel regularly across the African continent to meet customer needs
