Job Description
The Associate Technical Specialist provides technical support for adhesive products, assisting customers with applications, equipment, and troubleshooting across East Africa. Working closely with sales, marketing and R&D, the role delivers product training, prepares technical reports, and contributes to new product launches. The position requires a solid technical background, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel within Kenya.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
- • Minimum 4 years of technical experience in adhesives or related industry
- • Strong ability to learn technical concepts and work effectively in a team
- • Authorization to work in Kenya and willingness to travel as required
- • Technical certification related to applications, machinery, or adhesives (preferred)
- • Experience supporting customer‑facing technical projects or product demonstrations

Responsibilities
- • Support customer application trials, product demonstrations, and troubleshooting activities
- • Assist customers with product selection, application methods, and equipment-related questions
- • Build technical knowledge of adhesives, substrates, manufacturing processes, and application equipment
- • Analyze performance data and prepare technical reports and presentations
- • Conduct customer training sessions on products, applications, and equipment usage
- • Collaborate with sales teams to support key accounts and business opportunities
- • Participate in market research, industry events, and identification of emerging trends
- • Support new product launches and provide feedback to product development teams
