Job Description
The Technical Specialist acts as a trusted advisor for IT data‑centre and storage solutions, guiding customers and Lenovo partners through the sales cycle. Responsibilities include identifying project opportunities, developing pipelines for servers and software‑defined infrastructure, and delivering solution configurations. Maintaining strong technical relationships up to the CTO level and keeping customers informed of new technologies are critical. The role requires deep technical knowledge and excellent presentation skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND degree.
- • 8–10 years experience in technical sales within the information‑technology sector.
- • Proven ability to design and present complex IT infrastructure solutions.
- • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for senior‑level engagements.
- • Ability to work independently and drive pipeline development.

- • Define and identify IT data‑centre and storage projects, serving as a trusted advisor to customers and the Lenovo sales team.
- • Develop pipelines for new server, software‑defined infrastructure, and storage opportunities.
- • Build and maintain relationships with technical communities, including CTOs and IT decision‑makers.
- • Keep customers updated on relevant new technologies and innovations.
- • Produce solution configurations across multiple product lines, collaborating with product, technical, and sales teams.
- • Support account teams with product advice, presentations, and proposal development.
