Job Description
The Technical Training Officer designs and delivers automotive technical training programs, ensuring they meet TVET standards and industry requirements. Responsibilities include curriculum development, lesson planning, instructional delivery, assessment, compliance monitoring and continuous research to keep training content current.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field
- • Professional Certificate related to technical training or automotive engineering
- • Minimum 3 years experience in technical instruction or automotive engineering
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Design, develop and update technical course outlines and training content for automotive programs
- • Lead delivery of both theoretical and practical training sessions
- • Plan lessons and instructional schedules to optimise training throughput and learner engagement
- • Implement assessment frameworks to track learner progress and evaluate training effectiveness
- • Ensure strict adherence to TVET regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
- • Conduct research and development to keep training materials aligned with industry advancements
- • Utilise PowerPoint and digital tools to create dynamic training presentations
- • Maintain comprehensive training records and documentation
