Job Description
The Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains a range of trucks and buses, ensuring minimal downtime for commercial fleet customers and high levels of service satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Automotive Technology or related field
- • Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy‑vehicle technician
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Conduct road tests and on‑site verification before and after repairs
- • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs according to brand specifications
- • Diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, driveline, braking, electrical and electronic systems using diagnostic equipment
- • Interpret fault codes, live data and wiring diagrams to identify root causes
- • Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations
