Job Description
The Technologist I supports research and teaching activities at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology by maintaining laboratory equipment, conducting experiments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. They assist faculty and students with technical troubleshooting and data analysis. The role also contributes to the preparation of scientific reports and publications. Reporting to the senior technologist, the position plays a key role in the university’s research infrastructure.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- • 1–2 years experience in a laboratory or research environment
- • Proficiency in standard lab techniques and equipment operation
- • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
