Job Description
The Telesales Agent will generate new business by making outbound calls to micro‑retailers, promoting the KUZA credit product and guiding prospects through the application process. The role manages the sales pipeline, conducts early repayment follow‑ups and ensures compliance with KYC/KYB and data‑privacy standards. Strong bilingual communication and persuasive skills are essential for success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field (or KCSE with relevant experience)
- • 1–2 years of experience in target‑driven telesales, outbound call centre or collections
- • Bilingual proficiency in English and Kiswahili
- • Strong communication, negotiation and persuasive abilities
- • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment

- • Conduct high‑impact outbound calls to prospect and convert micro‑retailers onto the KUZA credit product
- • Manage the customer pipeline, guiding applicants through credit checks and initial disbursements
- • Perform proactive early‑stage repayment follow‑ups to protect portfolio quality
- • Maintain accurate records using auto‑dialers and CRM systems while ensuring compliance with KYC/KYB and data‑privacy protocols
- • Build and nurture relationships with micro‑retailers to encourage repeat business
- • Meet or exceed sales targets and conversion metrics
