Job Description
The Ticketing & Travel Operations Agent processes airline reservations, ticketing, refunds and provides travel advice while ensuring compliance with IATA and local regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Tourism Management, Travel & Hospitality or a related field
- • Valid IATA certification is mandatory
- • At least 2–3 years’ hands‑on experience using Amadeus GDS or a comparable reservation system
- • Practical experience in airline ticketing, fare construction, refunds, reissues and BSP processes
- • Good knowledge of airline rules, tariffs and international travel requirements
- • Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Issue, reissue, revalidate and process refunds for domestic and international airline tickets
- • Manage airline reservations, cancellations, itinerary changes and schedule updates
- • Construct fares accurately in line with airline and IATA rules
- • Provide clients with professional travel advice on routes, fares, travel requirements and policies
- • Handle customer enquiries, complaints and after‑sales support
- • Maintain accurate ticketing, invoicing, reconciliation and operational records
- • Ensure compliance with IATA, BSP, airline and TRA requirements
- • Build strong relationships with clients, airlines and travel partners
