Job Description
The ICT Trainer will deliver classroom and practical training sessions, develop learning materials and assess student performance to support the university’s technical programmes. Responsibilities include designing curricula, evaluating assessments and maintaining accurate student records. The role also involves research to keep the curriculum current and advising learners on professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Communication Technology or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
- • Minimum 2 years of experience delivering ICT training or teaching
- • Strong ability to develop curricula, instructional materials and assessments
- • Proficiency in using ICT tools and learning management systems
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Deliver training through seminars, workshops, tutorials and other learning activities as assigned
- • Develop, administer and grade exams, practical tasks, assignments and continuous assessment tests
- • Contribute to the development and implementation of academic policies, guiding principles and objectives
- • Create learning materials, schemes of work and maintain records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance
- • Conduct research to inform curriculum development and validate learning resources
- • Manage inventories, tools and equipment used as learning resources
- • Provide advice, guidance and feedback to trainees to support their professional growth
