Job Description
The Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting company products to customers across assigned routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with traffic regulations and company standards. The driver will verify orders, maintain accurate delivery records and perform routine vehicle inspections. Reliability, good communication and basic mechanical knowledge are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum O‑Level (KCSE) education or equivalent
- • At least five years experience driving trucks or heavy commercial vehicles
- • Valid driving licence for the relevant truck category with a clean driving record
- • Basic computer skills and ability to read delivery documents
- • Good communication skills and a certificate of good conduct
- • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics is an advantage

Responsibilities
- • Transport and deliver company products safely within agreed timelines
- • Verify orders and delivery documents for accuracy before dispatch
- • Load, unload and secure cargo as required
- • Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any faults promptly
- • Keep the truck clean, roadworthy and properly maintained
- • Maintain accurate trip, fuel, service and delivery records
- • Report accidents, breakdowns, damage or delivery delays immediately
- • Observe all traffic laws, road‑safety requirements and company procedures
