Job Description
The Truck Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy‑duty trucks to ensure reliable operation. Duties include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, performing inspections, and keeping detailed service records while adhering to safety standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent
- • Minimum 7 years’ hands‑on experience as a truck or motor vehicle mechanic
- • Strong practical knowledge of truck mechanical systems
- • Ability to work with minimal supervision and solve complex faults
