The role requires strong analytical skills to project costs and maintain performance records. The specialist works closely with stakeholders to stay updated on trade regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent
- • Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain, with at least 3 years focused on export logistics
- • Strong communication and coordination abilities
- • Proficiency with export management systems and tracking tools
- • Analytical mindset for cost projections and performance tracking
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Plan, organize, and oversee the entire export process from order placement to delivery
- • Coordinate with production, warehousing, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and third‑party logistics providers to schedule shipments
- • Track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure smooth cargo movement
- • Prepare and review export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and export licenses
- • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies
- • Maintain accurate shipment records for audit and reporting purposes
- • Stay informed about changes in export/import regulations
