Job Description
The Tutorial Fellow will deliver undergraduate and postgraduate IT courses, develop curriculum materials and mentor students in computer science topics. Responsibilities also include conducting research, writing grant proposals and presenting findings at conferences.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- • Master’s Degree in a relevant IT field
- • Minimum three years teaching or lecturing experience at the university level
- • Strong knowledge of programming, software development and emerging technologies
- • Excellent communication, presentation and academic writing skills
- • Ability to contribute to departmental research and curriculum development
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Teach allocated ICT and Computer Science modules, delivering lectures and practical sessions
- • Design, develop and update course curricula and teaching materials
- • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- • Supervise student projects, internships and research activities
- • Conduct research in relevant IT fields and publish findings
- • Write grant proposals and seek consultancy opportunities
- • Present research papers at national and international conferences
- • Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and junior staff
