Job Description
The Tutorial Fellow will teach special needs and inclusive education courses, develop curriculum and learning materials, and supervise student projects. Responsibilities also include conducting research, publishing findings and attracting funding to support university research initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Master’s degree in Special Needs Education (Inclusive Education)
- • Bachelor of Education (Special Needs Education) with specialization in Inclusive Education
- • Minimum two years teaching experience at university level
- • Registration with the relevant professional body
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Participate in curriculum development and review
- • Prepare course outlines to guide effective delivery
- • Develop learning content covering the syllabus
- • Teach undergraduate, diploma and certificate courses
- • Set, invigilate and administer examinations and report results
- • Supervise student projects and attend defense meetings
- • Conduct research, prepare publications and present at conferences
- • Attract funding to support university research
- • Facilitate fieldwork and practical components
