Job Description
The Waiter/Waitress delivers high‑quality food and beverage service, maintains menu knowledge, ensures hygiene standards, and contributes to achieving financial and guest‑satisfaction targets within the hotel restaurant.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent qualification
- • 1–2 years experience as a waiter in a hotel, restaurant or fine‑dining environment
- • Professional appearance and strong personal grooming
- • Ability to work flexible shifts and start immediately
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Maintain correct grooming standards and professional appearance at all times
- • Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating needs and updating guest profiles
- • Keep detailed knowledge of the menu, daily specials and beverage service standards
- • Follow HACCP and FIFO guidelines for food safety
- • Use opening and closing checklists to ensure smooth venue operations
- • Keep service stations stocked and clear throughout service
- • Serve and clear food and beverage items in a courteous, unobtrusive manner
- • Present menus proactively and guide guests through selections
- • Monitor and contribute to daily financial, LQA and TrustYou targets
- • Communicate guest feedback to the manager on duty
