Job Description
The Warehouse Controller supports the Commodity Warehouse Manager by maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing storage, and ensuring compliance with SOPs across all warehouse activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree, BSc, HND, diploma or vocational qualification in a related field
- • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the coffee sector
- • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Update and verify warehouse management system (WMS) transactions
- • Compare physical inventory counts with authorized releases and validate dispatch documentation
- • Ensure transactions are posted to the correct client, lot, and mark
- • Support warehouse planning, layout design, and storage optimization to maximize space utilization
- • Monitor warehouse activities to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with operational standards
- • Act as deputy to the Commodity Warehouse Manager when required
- • Enforce adherence to approved standard operating procedures and internal controls
- • Assist in implementing corrective actions arising from audit findings
