Job Description

The Warehouse Stock Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient loading and unloading of goods. Responsibilities include maintaining precise stock records, organizing storage for optimal space utilization, and conducting thorough inspections of incoming deliveries. The role requires at least two years of experience in warehouse or stock control and strong attention to detail. Candidates should possess a KCSE certificate and be proficient with inventory management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • KCSE Certificate (minimum grade C‑)
  • • CPA‑qualified certificate in Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • • Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or stock control
  • • Computer literacy with knowledge of inventory management systems
  • • High level of integrity and attention to detail

Required Skills

Responsibilities

  • • Coordinate and oversee the loading and offloading of goods
  • • Verify that all loaded products match the approved delivery documentation
  • • Ensure products are handled safely to prevent damage during loading and unloading
  • • Maintain accurate loading records and report any discrepancies
  • • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system
  • • Organize stock to maximize storage space and improve accessibility
  • • Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO)
  • • Investigate and report stock variances promptly
  • • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
  • • Verify product quantities and quality before acceptance
  • • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items immediately
  • • Record received goods accurately and store them in the correct locations
  • • Record all stock transfers, issues, returns, and adjustments accurately
  • • Monitor inventory movement between warehouse and branches
  • • Ensure all stock movements are supported by appropriate approvals
