The WASH Technical Advisor, Operations & Maintenance translates global O&M strategy into practical, locally owned models, ensuring reliable school water and sanitation services across multiple African countries.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Implement Splash’s sustainable O&M strategy within country workplans for Ethiopia, Zambia and Malawi
- • Translate global strategy into actionable plans, tools, decision gates and guidance for pilot, delivery and exit phases
- • Work with country technical staff to track O&M performance and address gaps
- • Develop financing, supply‑chain and workforce solutions to sustain school WASH services
- • Provide technical advice to governments, utilities and maintenance providers
- • Monitor and report on O&M outcomes, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement
