Job Description
The Workshop Supervisor will lead the workshop team of technicians, planning daily activities, allocating jobs, and ensuring the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment such as drilling rigs, compressors, and trucks. The role includes overseeing safety, managing spare parts, and maintaining accurate service records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Plant Mechanics, or a related field
- • Minimum five years of relevant maintenance and repair experience, including at least two years supervising a workshop team
- • Strong practical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, compressors, and drilling rigs

Responsibilities
- • Plan daily workshop activities and allocate tasks to technicians and mechanics
- • Supervise the servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of drilling rigs, compressors, trucks, and related equipment
- • Guide the team in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
- • Inspect completed work and verify equipment testing before release to customers
- • Coordinate spare parts, tools, and materials required for each job
- • Maintain job cards, service records, and workshop progress reports
- • Oversee on‑site repairs and communicate job status to customers
- • Enforce workshop safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and proper equipment use
