Job Description
The WSO2 Implementation Engineer designs, develops and deploys integration and identity solutions for clients in the telecommunications and banking sectors. Responsibilities include configuring WSO2 products, building secure APIs, and managing platform deployments on cloud and container environments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- • 3–7 years experience implementing integration and API management solutions, preferably with WSO2
- • Strong knowledge of API design, micro‑services, CIAM and cloud platforms such as Kubernetes/OpenShift
- • Proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT and scripting languages
- • Experience working with banking or telecommunications clients is a plus
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Gather and analyze functional and non‑functional requirements to design API and identity solutions
- • Design, install, and configure WSO2 API Manager, Micro Integrator, and Identity Server across development, testing, and production environments
- • Architect and build APIs and integration flows connecting core banking systems, ERP, payment switches, billers and third‑party services
- • Develop and deploy APIs using Java, Kubernetes/OpenShift and XML‑based processing (XSLT, XPath)
- • Own end‑to‑end platform deployment, including containerization and environment management
- • Provide technical guidance and support to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
- • Ensure security, scalability and performance of integration solutions
- • Produce documentation and knowledge‑transfer materials for clients
