Job Description
The Yard Operations & Vehicle Inspection role manages receipt, inspection, and inventory control of vehicles and equipment at Africa Global Logistics Kenya’s yard. The position ensures accurate system updates, compliance with safety standards, and efficient yard workflow. Reporting to the Team Lead, the incumbent coordinates with logistics teams to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- further education in logistics or supply chain is a plus
- • Experience in yard operations, vehicle inspection, or inventory management
- • Good knowledge of safety regulations and inspection procedures
- • Ability to operate inventory management software and basic computer applications
- • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities
- • Receive and inspect incoming vehicles and equipment for condition and compliance
- • Perform detailed inventory checks and update yard management systems promptly
- • Maintain accurate records of vehicle status, movements, and maintenance schedules
- • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to prioritize yard activities
- • Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards during inspections
- • Identify and report discrepancies or damages to relevant stakeholders
