Job Description
The Domestic Assistant will manage the daily housekeeping operations of a self‑catering cottage in Naivasha, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for guests. Duties include thorough cleaning, Indian cuisine preparation, laundry management, and inventory control. The role demands extensive experience, reliability and strong English communication skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum 7 years experience in domestic housekeeping
- • Expertise in preparing Indian cuisine
- • Trustworthy, organized and professional with strong English proficiency
- • Ability to operate household appliances and cleaning equipment safely
- • Clean criminal record and good health
- • Valid identification and relevant documentation
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, pantry, DSQ and other common areas
- • Change bed linen and towels, vacuum, dust and perform deep cleaning as required
- • Prepare Indian meals and handle all kitchen duties
- • Manage laundry, ironing and linen organization
- • Restock cleaning supplies and promptly report maintenance issues
- • Safeguard guest property and maintain a clean, safe, professional environment
