Job Description
The driver safely transports staff, visitors and partners, maintains vehicle condition, and handles routine checks and documentation. Responsibilities also include supporting fleet management, assisting with loading and unloading of project materials, and ensuring compliance with traffic and safety regulations. Strong communication and integrity are essential for safeguarding DCA property.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum secondary education (Diploma or degree)
- • Valid Kenyan driver’s licence with clean driving record
- • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- • Good communication and interpersonal skills
- • High level of integrity and professionalism
- • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Safely transport staff, visitors, partners and authorized passengers as assigned
- • Keep the vehicle clean, serviced and in good operating condition
- • Perform routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues
- • Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, mileage, fuel and maintenance records
- • Support fleet management, including motorbikes and other vehicles
- • Ensure compliance with Kenyan Traffic Act and DCA safety procedures
- • Assist with loading and unloading light project materials and logistics support
- • Provide customer service and safeguard DCA property during transport
