Job Description
The Electrician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on crusher plant equipment, diagnosing faults in motors, control panels and related systems. They will conduct routine inspections, assist with installations, and maintain accurate maintenance records while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- • Relevant hands‑on experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in quarrying, manufacturing, construction or heavy‑industrial environments
- • Experience working with crusher plants, conveyors and crushing operations is highly desirable
- • Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, control panels, starters, sensors and fault‑finding
- • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems efficiently
- • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
- • Ability to work independently, under pressure and as part of a technical team
- • Willingness to work in a demanding industrial environment and respond to equipment breakdowns when required

Responsibilities
- • Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on crusher plant equipment
- • Diagnose and repair electrical faults affecting crushers, conveyors, motors, control panels and related equipment
- • Conduct routine electrical inspections and identify potential faults before breakdowns occur
- • Perform planned maintenance, servicing and repairs of electrical systems and equipment
- • Assist with electrical installation, testing and commissioning of plant equipment
- • Monitor performance of electrical equipment and promptly report faults and maintenance needs
- • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance, repairs and breakdowns
- • Work closely with engineering and production teams to minimise electrical downtime
- • Provide technical support during plant breakdowns and emergency repairs
- • Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety standards
- • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce recurring electrical faults
