Job Description
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) intern assists the medical team by responding to emergency calls, providing first‑aid care, and supporting patient transport and documentation in a clinical setting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Certificate or diploma in Emergency Medical Services, Health Sciences or a related field.
- • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- • Ability to work in high‑pressure, fast‑moving environments.
- • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess patient condition.
- • Provide basic life support, first‑aid treatment and CPR as needed.
- • Assist senior EMTs with patient stabilization and transport.
- • Document patient information and treatment provided accurately.
- • Maintain EMT equipment and ensure readiness for emergencies.
