Job Description
The Trade Development Representative will recruit and manage mobile money agents and retail outlets, provide training on transaction tools and compliance, and ensure optimal stock levels and merchandising standards. The role focuses on expanding the provider’s footprint and driving sales through effective channel management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a relevant field
- • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales, distribution or FMCG/telecommunications
- • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- • Ability to build and maintain partnerships with agents and retailers
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Identify, recruit and map mobile money agents and high‑traffic retail outlets
- • Conduct regular visits to agents using agreed route plans
- • Provide training on business tools, AML, KYC and transaction processes
- • Monitor and enforce stock‑cover rules, ensuring agents have adequate SIM inventory
- • Develop and maintain merchandising standards by supplying promotional materials
- • Track agent performance and report on sales and coverage metrics
