Job Description
The Nurse will deliver high‑quality patient care in an outpatient setting, providing clinical services, counseling, and health education. The role requires strong communication in both English and Kiswahili, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining compassion and professionalism.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
- • Good knowledge of nursing standards, medical care and counseling procedures
- • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Kiswahili
- • Compassionate attitude with high integrity and respect for patient values
- • Ability to pay close attention to detail and produce accurate reports
- • Self‑driven, disciplined and able to work with minimal supervision
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide nursing care, medical assessments and counseling to out‑patient clients
- • Maintain accurate patient records and report clinical observations promptly
- • Communicate effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary team members in English and Kiswahili
- • Multitask across clinical duties, documentation and community outreach activities
- • Uphold compassionate, ethical and respectful standards of care
- • Participate in health‑education initiatives and support youth‑friendly services when required
