Job Description
The Tubular Goods Inspector ensures that all pipe and tubular components used in oil‑field projects meet required quality and safety standards. Inspections include visual checks, dimensional measurements, and verification against industry specifications. Findings are documented and communicated to suppliers and project engineers for corrective action. The role supports seamless operations by maintaining accurate inspection records and traceability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field
- • Minimum two years experience inspecting tubular or pipe products in the oil and gas sector
- • Strong knowledge of industry standards and specifications (e.g., API, ISO)
- • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- • Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills
