Job Description
The dentist will provide comprehensive oral care, including examinations, diagnoses, and a range of restorative and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include managing emergencies, delivering preventive and prosthetic treatments, and educating patients on oral hygiene. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring infection control, and collaborating with the clinical team.

Responsibilities
- • Conduct comprehensive dental consultations, oral examinations and clinical assessments
- • Diagnose dental and oral conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- • Perform routine and emergency dental procedures, including extractions, root canal treatment, restorative fillings, scaling and polishing, pulpectomy and other indicated endodontic procedures
- • Perform minor oral surgery and manage impacted teeth, including open and closed disimpaction where trained
- • Provide prosthetic procedures, including complete and partial dentures
- • Deliver preventive and periodontal care and orthodontic assessment within scope
- • Provide pain management, prescriptions and post‑operative instructions
- • Identify complicated cases and refer to specialists timely
- • Attend dental emergencies and provide initial management
- • Review patients after procedures and monitor outcomes
- • Provide oral health education, preventive advice and hygiene instructions
- • Maintain accurate, confidential, up‑to‑date dental records and treatment notes
- • Ensure informed consent is obtained before procedures
- • Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices
- • Safely use, maintain and monitor dental equipment, instruments and materials
- • Work closely with nurses, dental assistants, laboratory staff and pharmacists
