Job Description
The Farm Veterinary Officer oversees animal health and husbandry practices across the farm, ensuring optimal production and bio‑security. Responsibilities include supervising staff, implementing disease control measures, and maintaining accurate production records. Coordination with marketing and security teams is also required to meet customer demand and protect farm assets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a related field
- • Experience in livestock farm management and animal health monitoring
- • Knowledge of disease control, vaccination schedules, and bio‑security practices
- • Strong record‑keeping and reporting skills
- • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
