Job Description
The Integrated Science Teacher delivers high‑impact, competency‑based instruction to primary students while fostering a safe, inclusive and gender‑transformative learning environment. Responsibilities include lesson planning, assessment, student safeguarding and active engagement with parents and the wider school community. The teacher also supports students in exploring career pathways and nurturing their talents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Science or a related field
- • Valid incident‑free Children’s Check and Certificate of Good Conduct
- • Commitment to working evenings, weekends and occasional travel as required

Responsibilities
- • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the competency‑based curriculum
- • Implement child protection and safeguarding policies, maintaining a safe classroom atmosphere
- • Use diverse visual and audio strategies to accommodate varied learning styles
- • Develop teaching aids and learning materials tailored to student interests
- • Administer, grade and provide feedback on assessments to monitor progress
- • Keep accurate records of attendance, behaviour, performance and critical incidents
- • Support students in exploring career pathways and nurturing their talents
- • Plan and lead in‑class and outdoor learning activities
- • Participate in school events and co‑curricular activities
- • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to encourage involvement
