Job Description
The Production Supervisor will lead a team of manufacturing workers, overseeing daily operations to ensure products are produced on schedule and meet quality standards. Responsibilities include planning and controlling production processes, monitoring performance, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. The supervisor will also enforce health and safety policies, conduct training, and maintain accurate production records and reporting. Collaboration with the Production Manager and other departments is essential for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
- • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- • Strong leadership and team management skills.

- • Oversee and manage a team of production workers, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- • Ensure team adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- • Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure timely production and quality standards.
- • Monitor production schedules, adjust workflows, and manage resources effectively to meet targets.
- • Implement and maintain effective production tracking systems.
- • Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
- • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process and equipment.
- • Identify and address issues that could affect product quality.
- • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- • Work closely with the Production Manager and other departments to develop and implement best practices.
- • Promote and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- • Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- • Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular reports on production performance.
- • Document and report any incidents, issues, or changes in production processes.
