Job Description
The Regional Lead will coordinate agroecology training and support farmer groups across Vihiga and Kakamega counties. Responsibilities include organizing mentorship, facilitating learning clusters, and delivering hands‑on demonstrations of sustainable farming practices. The role requires strong community mobilisation skills and the ability to translate technical knowledge into practical outcomes. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience in agroecology are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- • Minimum three years of experience in agroecology or sustainable agriculture
- • Demonstrated ability to mobilise and mentor farmer groups
- • Strong communication and community engagement skills
- • Ability to produce short video introductions as part of the application process
