Job Description
The member will sit on the County Executive Internal Audit Committee, providing strategic oversight of audit activities across the county. They will evaluate audit reports, ensure compliance with public finance regulations, and advise on risk mitigation. The position requires deep expertise in public sector auditing and strong leadership to guide the committee’s work.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Kenyan citizenship with a recognized university degree
- • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in senior management
- • Proven expertise in public‑sector audit and internal audit standards
- • Strong knowledge of public finance management and related regulations
- • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
- • Integrity and ability to work independently
