Job Description
The Emergency Medical Technician will provide pre‑hospital emergency care, assess patients, administer treatment, and ensure safe transport to medical facilities while maintaining accurate documentation and equipment readiness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with a valid Kenyan license
- • Minimum high school education
- diploma in emergency medical services preferred
- • 1–2 years of EMT experience (middle‑level)
- • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- • Strong communication, decision‑making and teamwork skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide on‑scene medical care
- • Assess patient condition and administer appropriate treatment
- • Transport patients safely to the hospital while monitoring vital signs
- • Maintain and check ambulance equipment and medical supplies
- • Document patient care reports accurately and timely
- • Coordinate with hospital staff and emergency services during handovers
