Job Description
The Fibre Carding Line Supervisor will lead the opening and carding line operations for pineapple leaf fibre processing, ensuring production targets are met, equipment is maintained and quality standards are upheld.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or higher in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- • Proven experience supervising fibre or textile processing lines.
- • Strong knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
- • Ability to lead teams and enforce safety standards.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Supervise daily operations of the opening and carding line.
- • Manage line staff, schedule shifts and monitor performance.
- • Ensure equipment is maintained, calibrated and operating safely.
- • Monitor production output and quality, taking corrective action when needed.
- • Implement health, safety and environmental procedures on the line.
- • Coordinate with upstream and downstream processes to optimise workflow.
- • Prepare daily reports on production, downtime and maintenance activities.
