Job Description
The Junior Production Manager will assist the production team at AAA Growers – Veg in overseeing the cultivation and processing of premium vegetables, herbs and chilies. The role supports scheduling, quality control and inventory management to ensure efficient operations and product consistency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Science or a related discipline
- • 1–2 years experience in vegetable or horticultural production is preferred
- • Knowledge of good agricultural practices and food‑safety regulations
- • Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
- • Ability to work outdoors and adapt to seasonal workload fluctuations
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Coordinate daily production schedules and monitor crop progress
- • Manage inventory of raw materials, packaging and finished goods
- • Ensure compliance with food‑safety and quality standards
- • Support staff training and supervise field workers as needed
- • Track production metrics and report variances to senior management
- • Assist in budgeting and cost‑control activities for the production unit
