Job Description
The consultant will conduct a feasibility study for the Lishe, Elimu na Afya (LEA) Project in Turkana County, assessing the viability of proposed interventions to improve early childhood health, nutrition and education. The study will analyze social, economic, institutional and environmental conditions and provide evidence‑based recommendations to strengthen project design, implementation approach and sustainability. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in project and program management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Project Management, Development Studies, Public Health, Education or related field.
- • Proven experience conducting feasibility studies or assessments in development projects.
- • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
- • Familiarity with early childhood development, health, nutrition and education sectors.
- • Ability to work independently and engage with local stakeholders in Turkana County.

Responsibilities
- • Assess the feasibility of the proposed LEA project under existing social, economic, institutional and environmental conditions.
- • Analyse the project’s potential impact on health, nutrition, and early childhood education outcomes.
- • Review and evaluate the project design, intervention logic, implementation approach and sustainability mechanisms.
- • Conduct stakeholder interviews and field visits in Loima and Lokiriama sub‑counties.
- • Produce evidence‑based recommendations to improve project design, monitoring framework and funding proposal.
- • Prepare a comprehensive feasibility report for submission to BMZ.
