Job Description
The Senior Business Development Advisor mentors and supports Business Associates and Advisors, coordinates activities across departments, and drives business growth initiatives for entrepreneurs in Kakuma.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- • Minimum 3+ years experience in business development or consultancy
- • Strong coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder management abilities
- • Excellent communication and analytical skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Coach, mentor, and advise Business Associates and Business Development Advisors
- • Review work of BDAs and BAs to ensure high‑quality client delivery
- • Coordinate BDAs/BAs activities with other departments
- • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Executive team to set annual goals
- • Build capacity of BDAs/BAs through training on business growth services
- • Support micro‑business solutions projects, including recruitment, training, consulting, and representation
- • Represent Inkomoko in the local business community, conferences, and events
- • Maintain and develop relationships with business community leaders in Kakuma
- • Keep up to date on business and industry trends in Kenya and East Africa
- • Manage and supervise locations in and around Kakuma
- • Ensure KPIs are met for supervised locations
